Steering Committee and Sub-committees:
1. Resource Sub-Committee: (social workers, community members, nurses, health providers)
- Researching/gathering information from community.
- Compile database of existing programs for maternal health, dependency programs, low cost healthcare, dental, etc.
- Volunteer recruitment.
- Arrange scheduling templates for volunteers in all categories.
- Communicate with current volunteers to find where they may fit best.
- Job categories/skills
- Pharmaceutical procurement
2. Marketing/Public Relations Sub-Committee: (IT skills, public relations experience)
- Advertisements/flyers.
- Act as a liaison to community based organizations/churches
- Work with the finance committee to establish and maintain financial supporters

3. Finance Sub-Committee: (CPA, finance, previous experience in grant writing)
- Grant writing/fundraising.
- Develop a budget/track revenue and expenses.
- Analyze data/statistics after clinic opening.
4. Facility Procurement Sub-Committee: (real estate experience, community members, nurses)
- Research possible facilities: pros/cons.
- Clinic design/layout/mobile etc storage.
- List of clinic supplies. Confer with the finance committee re: projected expense.
- Utilities. Confer with the finance committee re: projected expense.
5. Organizational Sub-Committee (nurse, law background, experience in writing policies/procedures etc)
- Clinic name, mission statement, bylaws, etc.
- 501(c)(3) status (getting our non-profit status).
- Personnel policies and procedures/job descriptions.
- Sanitation policies/HIPAA regulations/Pharmaceutical regulations
- Medical record keeping (security)
6. Prayer support / Missions Sub-Committee
- update area churches/prayer lists on current requests etc.
- pray for the clinic and advocate for others to join you!
