Christ Community Free Clinic is a medical mission providing free quality urgent medical care and referral services with compassion and dignity to the uninsured and underinsured of our community.
Our Mission
To provide for the medical needs of the uninsured and underinsured while connecting them to the existing health community. To share Christ's love and acceptance with patients and volunteers alike. To partner with area churches creating a network of volunteers, making this a Christ Community Free Clinic.
Our Vision
Dr. Julie Stroud founded Christ Community Free Clinic while a third-year resident at Swedish Medical First Hill. She organized a steering committee of 12 people who began meeting in July 2005 to plan for the establishment of a free clinic in our community. The clinic opened March 31, 2007.
